Well, Sailor died in recovery after surgery today. She went into cardiac arrest and did not respond to any of the emergency procedures they tried on her.
Very sorry to hear it. I lost my favorite cat in June so I think I know what you're going through. If there was any justice, dogs and cats would live at least as long as we do. It's an unfortunate side of pet ownership that they're with us only briefly so treasure them while you can.
So sorry she didn't make it. The time she spent with you was probably the happiest that little girl has ever been in her life. My heart goes out to you and your family.
